ObjectiveTo explore a method to develop latent fingerprint on mirrory surface. MethodPolarization photography was used to develop latent fingerprint on mirrory surface. ResultTo compare with the directional reflection photography and darkfield photography, polarization photography is better than the other methods. ConclusionPolarization photography can effectively increases the contrast and eliminates interference function of the object background.

ObjectiveTo discuss the result of DNA typing for a hydatidiformmole sample in one rape case. MethodA hydatidiformmole tissue sample and a blood sample of the victim were typed by multiplex STR typing with Identifiler kit. Results The tissue sample from the hydatidiformmole is homozygous in all 15 loci. This is CHM fertilized by single sperm. ConclusionThere are different hydatidiformmole types that producing various kinds of STR genotypes. More attention should be paid in case works.

ObjectiveTo research the characteristics and identification of fingerprint transferred by plastic film. MethodOne hundred and twenty experiments of transferring fingerprints to paper with various plastic films were made. These fingerprints transferred were compared with ordinary fingerprints. ResultThere were fortyone legible fingerprints in experiments. The characteristics of fingerprints transferred were found. ConclusionThe fingerprints transferred can be identified by means of discerning their characteristics.

In this paper, the GC/MS/MS was applied to analyze Ketamine. When the parent ion was m/z 180 and the exact CID voltage was 0.5v,the result was satisfactory. It showed that the GC/MS/MS is more fast, sensitive and accurate than GC/MS.

ObjectiveTo find the correlation between stature, avoirdupois and the length or width of footmark and fingerprint. Method866 people were investigated by measuring the length and width of their fingerprints and footprints, stature, and avoirdupois. Then all data was input into a computer and analyzed by means of SPSS 110. ResultsThe length of the footprints or fingerprints was positively and highly correlative to the stature (p<0001).Four regression equations were established for estimating the stature form the length of the fingerprints and footprints. And six equations were established for avoirdupois from their width. All equations were significant (p<0.001). ConclusionThese equations can be used to estimate stature or avoirdupois of some people. The estimation of stature according to right fingerprints or footprints is more credible, and the estimation of avoirdupois according to left footprints is more credible.

ObjectiveTo establish a HS/SPMEGC/NPD analysis method for fast determination of ketamine in urine of drugger. MethodA sample vial containing the urine sample, sodium hydroxide and sodium chloride was heated at 95℃. A polydimethysiloxanecoated fiber of the SPME was maintained in the headspace of the vial for 25 minute to allow adsorption of the drugs. The drugs absorbed on the fiber were detected by GC/NPD using external standard method. ResultsKetamine in urine show linearity in the rang of 0.220.0μg/ml(r2=0.9965). Recovery of the ketamine adding 1.0μg in urine was 102.6%. Relative standard deviation (RSD) was 3.39% (n=7). The limits of detection (LOD) (s/n=3) was 1.13ng/ml. ConclusionThis method is simple, frequent, sensitive, accurate, and is suitable for qualitative and quantitative analysis of ketamine in urine.

The traditional way of age estimation in forensic science is mainly through morphology on human tissue, such as skeleton and teeth, it isn't accurate and unfeasible to deal with some special biomaterial left at crime scene. With the development of cytobiology and molecular biology, some biology markers that have great correlation with age are found at the cell and molecular level, and a new concept “molecular age” is put forward, these offer new techniques for carrying on age estimation in relevant disciplines.
