Objective To complete the investigation of ge netic polymorphism of Ychr omosome STR loci of Han population in Zhejiang, and provide the basal data for i ts forensic application. Method DYS389Ⅰ、DYS389Ⅱ、DYS4 3 9、DYS438 and DYS392 loci were amplified by using YPLEXTM5 PCR Amplifica tion K it and the products were analyzed by 3100 genetic analyzer, 200 unrelated male i ndividuals of Han population in Zhejiang were investigated to determine the dist ributions of allele frequencies and haplotypes. Results 4 、7、5、4、6 alleles were found in 5 YSTR loci and the GD value were 05868、 07779、06734、0 5062 and 06328 respectively. 95 haplotypes were found in 5 YSTR loci, of which 5 4 were unique, 15 were found in 2 individuals,12 were found in 3 individuals,5 were found in 4 individuals,4 were found in 5 individuals, 1 were found in 6 in dividuals, 1 were found in 7 individuals, 2 were found in 8 individuals, 1 were found in 11 individuals, and the observed haplotypes diversity value was 09920 . Conclusion The 5 YSTR lo ci are highly polymorphic and are suitable for forensic application in Zhejiang.
