ObjectiveTo conclude the condition and postur e of being shot and the exact position of firing gun. Method The angles of the bullet ballistic inside body were analyzed by ways of soli d geometry construction and trigonometric function numeration. ResultsThe angles made by the bullet ballistic and each of the threedimensional sections, i.e.sagittal plane, coronal section and hori zo ntal plane, of anatomy were calculated exactly. Conclusion Confirmation of the position and posture of the dead or wounded while being s hot, the threedimensional angles and the gun position while firing are signifi cantly helpful to forensic medicine examination.

ObjectiveTo research the general pattern of gradual decrease of morphine content in a drug(heroin)users urine when they stop using heroin. Method182 drug(heroin)us ers urine sample were continuously collected for 9 days after they stop using drug and morphine content in their urine were analysed by using radioimmunity . ResultsAfter they stop using heroin for 8 days, the mo rphine content in their urine decreased to 30ng/ml. Conclusion When dealing with a drug abuse case, the urine test for morphine content should be done within 8 days from the last time of using heroin.

ObjectiveTo establish a method for detecting the inorganic ions in explosive residues. MethodsThe in o rganic ion was separated in the capillary electrophoresis by using buffer and de tected by UV indirectly.ResultsThe inorganic anions (chl oride, sulfate, nitrite, citrate, chlorate and perchlorate) and inorganic cation s (ammonium, potassium, magnesium and sodium) in the explosive residues were sep arated successfully. ConclusionThe method is of advantag es, including high sensitivity, small sample quantity, and easy to operate.

ObjectiveTo build basic heredity database of t he distribution of allele frequencies and haplotype of 15 STR loci of Uygur population in Xinjiang, and to compare results of data with Han population in Tianjin. MethodBy using AmpFeSTR ○R IdentifilerTM Kit,265 unrelated individuals of the Uygur population in X i njiang, were analyzed by ABI3100(Avant)genetic analyzer, and the data of 15 STR loci were studied statistically.ResultsIn the Uygu r population(265 unrelated individuals) in Xinjiang, 157 alleles and 523 genotypes of 15 STR loci were found, TDP Was 0999999999999999998, and PE Was 0 99999984(triple). ConclusionThe distribution of allel es of 15 STR loci of the Uygur population in Xinjiang showed haplotype,no notice able differ ence, and are suitable for forensic indentification and paternity testing.

ObjectiveTo get the characteristics of marks on copied the“-”model and “+”model keys. Methods123 t oothshape keys of the “-” model and 44 toothshape keys of the “+” model were copied and the surface were stadied with microscope. Results Obvious marks are left on the sides, the trough, the curved tops or th e concave of the keys. ConclusionThe characteristics of marks can be used for identification of copied keys.

With the rapid development of MALDIMS and ESI MS, biological mass spectrometry technology has already become an important to ol in life science. Compared with other methods, mass spectrometry is more accur ate because the quality of molecule is measured directly. Biological mass spectr ometry technology has advantages of fast speed, sensitivity and highthroughput when analyzing sequence of nucleic acid. Utilizing MALDITOFMS technology, S NP genetic markers in degraded biological material can be analyzed, which has im portant meaning in forensic medicine. This article gives a review on biological mass spectrometry, including the principle, progress, difficulty faced and appli cation prospect in forensic genetics.
