Objective To complete the study of genetic polymorphis m of Y STR loci of Han population in Zhejiang, and provide the basal data for its foren sic application. Methods 16 Y-STR loci were amplified by using Y filer PCR amplification Kit, 203 unrelated male individuals of Han population in Zhejiang were investigated to determine the distributions of allele frequenci es and haplotypes. Results 4~13 alleles were found in the prev iew 15 YSTR loci, and 47 haplotypes were found in DYS385a/b locus. The GD valu e was from 03918 to 09609〖KG*4〗199 haplotypes were found in16 YSTR loc i, of whic h 196 were unique, 2 were found in 2 individuals,1 were found in 3 individuals, and the observed haplotypes diversity value was 09998Conclusio n the 16 YSTR loci are highly polymorphic and are suitable for forensic application in Zhejiang.
