    Objective To establish a method of age estimation for Hannationality adolescents aged from 6 tO 15 years old in Shan妇.Methods 1997 digital ortbopantomograms(934 male and 1063 female)of Han nationality adolescents aged from 6 tO 15 years old in Shanxi were observed and graded,then the grading sCOres were analyzed with SPSSl3.0.Results The P-value of non-parameter test for the scores of dental calcification between homonymic teeth were above 0.05,but it was opposite between gender,each coefficient of correlation between the age and the dental calcification was above 0.59。all of the adjusted R2 for the e. quations were above 0.76,the standard errorof estimate is 0.85 tO 1.05 years for male and 0.83 tO 0.97 year for female.Conclusion 乃e method established in this Study was reasonable and reliable.and it can be used tO estimation the age of adolescents in Shanxi.

    objective To investigate and evaluate the genetic polymorphism data.of twenty-one洲t loci in Beijing Han population by 459 case.Methods The 21 srR lOCi(D6s474、D12SATA63、D22S1045、D10S1248、D1S1677、D儿S4463、 D1S1627、D3S4529、D2S441、D6S1017、194s2408、D19S433、D17S130l、D1GATAll3、D18s853、D20s482、D14S1434、D9S1122、 D2S1776、D10S1435、D5S2500)were amplified with AGCU21+1 kit.Then,the genetic data and the forensic parameters were ana— lyzed statistically with the software.At last,we evaluated the effect of the application in some real paternity test cases.Results We obtained the distribution of the 21 STR loci。and the statistical result showed that the heterozygosis(H)ranged from 0.5894 to 0.8038;the power of discrimination(DP)ranged from 0.7898 to 0.9265;the power of exclusion about trio parentage test(PE3) ranged from 0.3618 to 0.6029;the power of exclusion about duo parentage test(P匕)ranged from 2031 to 0.4256;the polymorphic information content(PIC)ranged from 0.5638 to 0.7640.A higher paternity index scores and higher exclusion rate were ob— tained by using the Identifiler and the AGCU21+1 identification system both.Conclusion.The 21 loci were relatively highly genetic polymorphic in Beijing Han population and could be valuable for paternity test.They are useful tools in forensic paternity test,genetic and anthropological study.

    Objective To establish a method for mtDNA nt8584 and nt8701 loci polymorphism typing.Methods Using quantitative real—time PCR。the polymorphism of nt8584 and nt8701 loei were detected among 62 unrelated individuals.Results Ten nt8584A and fifty-two nt8584G have been detected in nt8584 loci,whose mutation frequency was 16:84.Twenty-seven 27 nt8701A and thirty-five nt8701G have been detected in nt8701 loci.whose mutation frequency was 44:56.Conclusion The as— tablished method is quick and accurate for polymorphism typing of mtDNA nt8584 and nt8701 loci。and can be used for casework.

    To establish an analysis method of monofluroacetate in human blood by using liquid chromatography and ion trap electro-spray mass spectrometry.Methods The human blood samples were wiped off protein with methanol,the supematant was evaporated under nitrogen.The residues were reconstituted in 0.50 mL mobile phase and filtered through a membrane,and then were directly analyzed by liquid chromatography and ion trap electro-spray mass spectrometry.Results The calibration curves showed good linearity in rang of 0.050/.£g/mL-2.0肛g/mL and the limit of detection was 0.020 og/mL,respectively.Con。 clusion The method was sensitive and easy tO operate.It can be widely applied in the identification of monofluroacetate in case— work.

    Environmental scanning electron microscope(ESEM)plays an important role in research and casework in forensic science.It not only has the functions of traditional scanning electron microscope,but also can adjust the humidity and the air pressure of the sample chamber.With ESEM,we can obtain the secondary electronic imaging in natural condition.Therefore, it can be used tO observe the surface ultrastructure of non-conducting and non-heat—conducting samples directly.These characteristics decide that the ESEM will have a broad application prospect in the field of forensic science.
