  • A study on dental age of Han nationality adolescents in Chongqing

    Objective To explore the rule of dental calcification and set up a age estimation method according to dental cal— cification for 6～15 years old adolescents in Chongqing．Methods 1321 digital orthopantomograms(male577，female 744)were studied．Referring to the standard of grading，the grading scores，gender and age were analyzed with SPSSl3．0．Then we got an equation for age estimation．Results There were no significant difference between homonymic teeth(P>0．05)but it was opposite between gender(P<0．05)，each coefficient of correlation between the age and the dental calcification was above 0．58，all of the adjusted Rz for the equations were above 0．67，the standard error of estimate is 0．95 to 1．I I years for male and 1．02 to 1．12 years for female．Conclusion The method used in this study can be applied to estimate age for the groups aged from 6 to 15 years old in Chongqing．

    Six brands of wire clipper and their cutting marks were studied．The thickness of top edge，grip clearance of blades，milling width and side blades interval of all clippers，including the parameters of cutting marks were measured．After the data were analyzed with SSPS software，we found that there are certain differences manufacturing characteristics among 6 types of wire clippers and the grip／cutting marks carl reflect these differences．

    Objective To establish HPLC-MS／MS method for the determination of Fentanyl and Sufentanil in biological samples．Methods Samples were extracted by solid—phase extraction．XTerraTM RPl8 column(2．ImmX 100mm，3．5tan)was used，and the mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile：ammonium acetate(5mmol／L，pH=9．5)(65：35)．The flow rate was 0．2 mL／mirL Results There was a good linear relationship within the range of 10ng／mL～500ng／mL．The limit of detection was 0．1ng／mL．Conclusions The method is simple，accurate and can be used for the determination of Fentanyl and Sufentanil in biol-ogicat samples．

    Six hundred intersecting samples of handwriting and seal impression were analyzed with IDMH—Z780．The results showed that crossed marks are intact with no obvious change when the pen ink was written first，and the pen ink distribu— tions will change when seal was stamped first．

    Blood and diluted blood were dropped on dark clothes，and then the infrared photography was used tO reveal the stains．The results showed that infrared photography is better than ordinary color photography for revealing bloodstains on dark clothes．For different clothes materials and the blood’s concentration，the images of infrared were different．

  • Determination of barbiturates in human blood by GC-MS／MS

    Objective To establish a method for qualitative and quantitative analysis of barbiturates in human blood by GC-MS／MS．Methods Barbiturates in blood samples were extracted and enriched by solid-phase extraction first，then ion trap gas chromatography-tandem ITlass spectrometry was used to accomplish the separation and quantitative analysis of barbiturate． Results The recoveries of barbiturates are from 80．3％to 92．6％by using solid phase extraction．The detection limits of barbi— turates are from 0．04／_￡g／mL to 0．10pg／mL，respectively．Conclusion The method is simple and sensitive for the simultaneous determination of barbiturates in human blood．

    Objective To found a quick and sensitive method to screen common antibiotics．Methods The samples were analyzed by HPLC-ESI—MS(n)，and ZORBAX sb-aq(2．1mmX 150mm×3．5ban)was used as chromatography column while 0．1％ formic acid methanol and water were used as mobile phase in the grads program．The flow rate was 0．4 mL／min．Results A US— er's library of spectrum and RT containing 4 1 antibiotics were attained．Conclusion It can take place of the manual operation of MS searching and be applied to determine the antibiotics in the biologic tissue．

    Objective To explore the capability of CdSe／TGA and CdS／PAMAM quantum dots solutions in developing fingerprints on adhesive tape．Methods The preliminary evaluation was made by analyzing the development time，temperature and effects of both materials．Results The stability and fluorescence density of CdSe／TGA solutions were better than C_AS／ PAMAM，while CdS／PAMAM was more effective for developing aged fingerprints．Conclusions Each of them has its advan— tage to develop fingerprints，and this work provides scientific basis for further comprehensive evaluation．
